Arena Football Update

It’s November And Arena Football is Coming

You can smell it in the air. It’s Football. Not those Stadium type football games. We are talking about HARD HITTING. FAST PACED. HIGH ENERGY GAMES. Yes, Arena Football. Tons of leagues springing up over the South East United States, but LockedIN Magazine is going to worry about the Arena Football League(AFL), National Arena League(NAL), American Arena League(AAL) for now.

In the NAL, The Columbus Lions are stacking their defensive roster with HUGE Bodies  Today’s signing of Defensive Lineman David Gilbert (6’4, 254 lbs) makes three Division 1 acquisitions in just three days for the Lions. Gilbert played 4 seasons at Wisconsin, where he recorded 79 tackles and 8.5 sacks. He transferred to Miami in 20134, where he played in 12 games recording 10 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and Tied for team lead with two fumble recoveries.  The Columbus Lions also signed LB Ryheem Yates.

New Jersey Flight, are making moves in the right direction signing Former Grizzlies QB Stephen Panasuk and then bringing in WR Jerred Beniquex and DB Derrick Fyer to the 2018 roster. The LV STEELHAWKS signed DL Jamie Holbrook.

In the AAL, things got alittle interesting this week as the The Atlanta Havoc take over residence at the Buford City Arena in Buford, Georgia. The Havoc, once the Georgia Doom of the NAL, is co-owned by Chris Duffy, owner of one of the largest Bail Bonds Companies in Florida. and former Jacksonville Sharks Fan and Sponsor.
