A family-friendly event for nearly four decades, Stu Sarjeant and his four-year-old son, Jim, created the Daytona Turkey Run in 1974. Today, it boasts show quality cars from around the country including restored classics, newer, customized rides and foreign and domestic exotics. Whether you’re looking for a ‘57 Cadillac 62 series, 1996 Bentley Turbo R, Packard Woody Wagon from 1948 or ’62 Triumph TR3A, the Daytona Turkey Run is one of Daytona’s most sought-after attractions and the place to be Thanksgiving weekend.
Swap Meet, Car Corral, and Arts and Fashion Bazaar
Each year, thousands of swap meet vendors offer everything from auto parts and accessories to clothing and gifts, as well as food and beverage vendors. There’s also the annual Car Corral where thousands of cars line up in the infield for participants to buy and sell vehicles. An Arts and Fashion Bazaar has recently been added to the Daytona Turkey Run showcasing handmade art, crafts and fashion – perfect for getting some holiday shopping done.
