Jumbo Shrimp, Advanced Disposal Commit to Making The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville the Cleanest Ballpark in Minor League Baseball

Advanced Disposal adding recycling containers, presenting pregame promotion with child cleaning home plate

In their shared commitment to cleanliness and affordable family fun, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Advanced Disposal are working together to make the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville the Cleanest Ballpark in Minor League Baseball.

As the summer starts its second official weekend, fans will be introduced to the Cleanest Ballpark initiative at Jumbo Shrimp home games. Before each home game, Advanced Disposal will present a child cleaning off home plate to begin a night of baseball, fun and keeping North Florida’s home for affordable family fun clean. The game day program and video board will also educate fans on the Cleanest Ballpark initiative.

With the help of Advanced Disposal, the Jumbo Shrimp will add a new set of recycling bins for ballpark guests to recycle aluminum and plastic. Advanced Disposal is also working with the Jumbo Shrimp’s ballpark ’Clean Team’ to keep the ballpark clean at every Jumbo Shrimp game.

“We are extremely excited about this new partnership with Advanced Disposal. Working together, we are committed to setting the highest standards of cleanliness at the ballpark,” said Jumbo Shrimp owner Ken Babby. “Our fans have come to expect a clean and safe environment. We take great pride in that commitment and believe this partnership exemplifies our commitment.

“We share a common commitment to safety and setting high standards for service. Advanced Disposal is proud to partner with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp to make the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville the cleanest ballpark in Minor League Baseball and provide affordable family fun for the fans in Northeast Florida,” said CEO Richard Burke.
